I am pleased to inform you that my friend and fellow Master of Wine, Sarah Marsh, has now launched a Burgundy newsletter The Burgundy Briefing.
I have known Sarah for some years. She has been a wine buyer for one of London’s top wine specialists and last October passed both parts of her Master of Wine examination, gaining a distinction for her dissertation on clones of Pinot Noir and how they are perceived by top Côte d’Or producers. She knows Burgundy well. Most importantly she has the confidence of the growers.
At present Sarah's intention is to publish bi-monthly. In addition to review of wines, new and old, there will be interviews, features on restaurants with good lists of Burgundy and other information.
It won’t cost you anything to receive the first issue, which will be published on her website.
